Christian Eiroa was born in 1972 in Danli, Honduras, the youngest of three children. Shortly after birth, he was taken to the Jamastran farm, where he would spend much of his childhood. As young as 8, Christian helped move tobacco around, laying the foundation for a career in the industry. In 1995, he returned to Honduras to learn more about tobacco and cigars.
In 2000, Christian made a big splash with the launch of the Camacho Corojo, an exceptional cigar praised for its remarkable marketing, which included week-long customer visits to Honduras to explain the entire production process. In 2008, Camacho Cigars was purchased, with Christian remaining on board until 2011, when he decided to go out on his own. Christian linked up with Tom Luzuka to begin Asylum cigars some time ago and has been producing some of the best cigars in the cigar world since.
