In 2010, Crowned Heads was founded by former CAO employees, with their first blend Four Kicks being a hit. Recently, they have re-blended Four Kicks with master blender Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr. The new blend features a rustic Connecticut Habano maduro wrapper leaf, giving off cocoa and chocolate aromas, and a medium-bodied taste with creamy, toasty, and natural tobacco flavors. The Four Kicks Maduro has received a 90-point rating, with notes of almond, coffee, wood, cocoa, and herbs.
