Flor de las Antillas
Cuba is the largest of the Greater Antilles islands. Because of its beauty it has earned the name "Flor de las Antillas". In its honor, the Garcia family has decided to put that name on this amazing and unique creation , combining a great cigar with a design that includes accents from the original art created in the early 1900s, packed in a box of 20 cigars. It is a 3/4 to Full-Bodied cigar Box-Pressed of a sun grown wrapper harvested in Las Marias farm, located in the region of Namanji in Esteli, Nicaragua, owned and operated by the Garcia Family. This cigar is blended with several Cuban tobacco seeds, making it smooth and creamy. It starts with the signature My Father spice and has a rich cocoa flavor. It produces a beautiful white ash giving it a great finish.
Richness and Abundance, just as its name, this is what the new 'My Father La Opulencia' is all about. Criollo and Corojo Binders, Corojo, Criollo and Habano Filler all coming from selected farms such as finca El Pedrero, Las Lometas and La Bonita, all property of the Garcia family, finished with a beautiful Mexico Rosado Oscuro wrapper, creating this medium to 3/4 body cigar with the perfect combination of aroma, flavors and complexity.
This new blend comes as an extension to the El Centurion line. Featuring a hybrid H-2K-CT wrapper from the United States, the binders and fillers are 100% Nicaraguan grown, cured and fermented by the Garcias. Adjusting the blend slightly to accent the new wrapper, the Garcias created a cigar that is rich, yet refined at the same time. Well balanced and truly delicious, with unique aromas and flavors.
Since the introduction of the My Father brand in 2008, two additional blends have been created to amazing consumer and industry success. Eight years later, the time has come to unveil the next vision in the My Father line inspired by a friend of the Garcia Family, we proudly present "My Father MF The Judge". Cloaked in a gorgeous dark brown Sumatra Oscuro wrapper, who's subtle sweetness hides an inner strength, this full bodied blend is rounded out by three different Nicaraguan fillers, all grown on the Garcia's farms as well as Corojo and Criollo binders.
The Fonseca brand dates back to 1892 when its founder, Don Francisco E. Fonseca established his own factory and cigar brand bearing his family name in Havana, Cuba. Over the past 120 years Fonseca has been one of the most recognizable brands and has been produced in Cuba, the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. Today, Fonseca is proudly owned by the Garcia family and is the newest addition to the My Father Cigars portfolio of brands. This medium bodied blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos (all grown by the Garcia family) is finished with a stunning shade grown Corojo 99 rosado wrapper. The end result is a profile of richness, earth, and spice that has been tamed to pay homage to the smooth and lighter profile of the classic Fonseca brand.
La Gran Oftera
My Father-La Gran Oferta (The Great Offering), is the latest addition to the very well-known and prestigious "My Father" family. The cigars are rolled in the Garcia's large facility in Esteli, Nicaragua, with Cuban-seed binder and filler tobaccos grown on their own Nicaraguan farms. The wrapper is a very oily Habano Rosado and it's a medium to 3/4 cigar. La Gran Oferta translates to "the great offering," and the cigar features stunning artwork created after a very old cigar brand that sold under the same name, around 1913.
Jamie Garcia Reserve Esepcial
This brand made its first appearance in NYC during a special event on December 2009. The cigar, which at that time did not have a specific name, was made in only one size for that event. It was so well received that Jaime Garcia decided to incorporate into regular production using his own name for the brand, called after that night "Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial". This Medium-to-Full Bodied cigar, made at My Father Cigars S.A., has an oily and dark broad leaf wrapper, which provides it an exceptional smoke with an incomparable aroma.
My Father Connecticut is going to be an extension of the already existing line My Father and My Father Le Bijou; the cigar is blended by Jose "Pepin" Garcia and his son Jaime Garcia at the My Father Cigar Factory in Nicaragua It features an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, Nicaragua Corojo 99 Binder and Nicaragua Habano-Criollo filler, all the tobacco coming out of the Garcia's farms with the exception of the wrapper which comes from Ecuador. This cigar also features a very unique aromatic leaf that gives the cigar aromas and flavors; a special fermentation process was given to this particular type of tobacco in order for it to release all the aromas and flavors that the Garcias were looking for to finish the last touch of this blend.
