CAO brand manager and blender Rick Rodriguez noted that customers had responded positively to the original release, but had requested the cigar to be made in more sizes. As a result, the Zócalo cigar was produced at the STG Estelí factory in Nicaragua, where most CAO cigars are made. It features an all-Nicaraguan filler, a Cameroon binder, and a Mexican Morrón wrapper from the San Andrés Valley.
