Esteban Carreras The Devils Hand Cigar
Crafted from tobacco born of rebellion, the Esteban Carreras Devils Hand is a bold Nicaraguan puro with a backstory as rich as its flavor. This exceptional cigar is the result of a secretive legacy dating back to the early 1990s, when Gonzalo Puentes—now the master behind the Esteban Carreras factory in Estelí, Nicaragua—worked for Cuba’s Ministry of Agriculture. Tasked with developing superior Corojo seeds, Puentes and his team kept the best selections hidden from the Castro regime and eventually smuggled them out of Cuba.
Those rare, premium seeds were later grown in Ecuador and Nicaragua, forming the foundation of this remarkable cigar. The Devil’s Hand features a dark, flavorful Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper, supported by dual binders from Estelí and Jalapa, and rich filler tobaccos from Condega, offering a truly complex Nicaraguan experience.
Medium to full in strength, this cigar delivers a spicy, earthy, and well-balanced smoke with notes of cedar, leather, and roasted nuts. A must-try for those who love boutique cigars with history, depth, and character.
