The Story Behind Garo Cigars

Founded in 1995 by Dr. Garo Bouldoukian, Garo Cigars began with a passion for premium tobacco and the traditions of Dominican cigar making.

Originally operating a chiropractic practice in Glendale, California, Dr. Garo pursued his interest in cigars by partnering with experienced cigar makers in the Dominican Republic. What began as Garo Habano Fine Cigars grew into a boutique brand recognized for its distinctive blends, carefully selected tobaccos, and commitment to traditional craftsmanship.

Unlike many larger cigar manufacturers, Garo has maintained a boutique approach, emphasizing personal involvement in tobacco selection, blending, and production.

Today, Garo Cigars continues to represent the passion and dedication of an independent cigar maker with more than three decades of industry history.
