I was thrilled when Ferio Tego Metropolitan Host cigars, which showcase the classical taste of Honduran flavors, were reintroduced to the high-end cigar market. This brand used to be a part of Nat Sherman International's lineup, but it disappeared when Nat Sherman shut down in 2019. However, Ferio Tego, a company started by former Nat Sherman workers in 2021, revived Metropolitan Host, and the cigars are just as great as they used to be! These cigars are crafted at the famous Diadema Cigars de Honduras SA factory owned by Davidoff and contain well-aged Honduran tobacco wrapped in high-quality Connecticut Shade leaf. Metropolitan Host offers me a smooth and well-balanced medium-bodied smoke with a sweet and creamy flavor, complemented by a pleasantly sweetened cap.
